Start with the moment
Describe the situation in which your product belongs. A morning routine gives a creator a more useful starting point than a long list of claims. Explain the audience, the feeling, and the one thing the viewer should understand.
Separate facts from creative freedom
Share approved product information, required disclosures, and any visual boundaries before production begins. Then leave room for the creator’s own language and pacing. A useful brief guides the story without turning every gesture into an instruction.
Define the delivery
Agree on the format, opening variations, review rounds, and usage rights before the first take. Put the practical decisions in writing so the review can focus on the creative work. Clarity and character can belong in the same brief.
