Decide who will consolidate the team’s notes before the first edit arrives. Invite the people who need to check the work, while keeping one clear set of feedback for the production team.

Separate corrections from preferences

Flag factual corrections and required changes clearly. Describe creative preferences in terms of the purpose of the edit: what should become clearer, slower, or more focused. A useful note explains the intended effect.

Close the loop

After revisions, compare the cut to the agreed notes and scope. Confirm what is approved and what still needs attention. A considered process makes it easier to finish the work without losing the idea that started it.
